On Aug. 7, 2008, the PUC announced plans to release estimates comparing current market prices for electricity with capped rates paid by consumers now. The Electric Price Estimates fact sheet has the data that provides some very general guidance on current market prices relative to current capped utility rates.

The fact sheet will be updated quarterly. The next update will be April 2010.
